Arunachal BJP Launches Seva Sankalp Saptah in Itanagar

ITANAGAR | October 7:

The Arunachal Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday launched Seva Sankalp Saptah in Itanagar as part of the nationwide Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, State BJP in-charge Devesh Kumar and Arunachal Pradesh BJP president Kaling Moyong jointly launched the Sewa Jyoti Yatra at Ganga in the capital region.

The launch marked the beginning of the week-long programme in the state, which focuses on public outreach and service-oriented activities through BJP organisational units.

The nationwide Seva Sankalp Saptah began on October 7 and forms part of a month-long campaign being organised to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public service.

During the campaign, BJP workers are scheduled to take part in various activities aimed at connecting with people and highlighting government welfare and development initiatives.

The programme includes interactions with beneficiaries of government schemes, blood donation drives and assistance to people in accessing various welfare programmes.

The campaign also provides for recognition of Anganwadi and ASHA workers, acknowledging their role in delivering essential services at the grassroots level.

Tree plantation drives, cleanliness activities and other community-oriented programmes are also being organised as part of the week-long observance.

The Seva Sankalp Saptah is being observed through BJP organisational units across the country, with activities planned at the local level to mark the campaign.

In Arunachal Pradesh, the launch of the Sewa Jyoti Yatra in Itanagar sets the stage for further Seva Sankalp activities across the state's organisational areas in the coming days.
