Arunachal Govt Forms Panel to Review 80:20 Reservation Ratio
ITANAGAR, July 6: The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has constituted a high-level committee to examine the feasibility and methodology for abolishing the existing 80:20 reservation ratio in competitive recruitment processes and making PRC and APST certificates mandatory for all such recruitments. The committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Industries, Skill Development, Labour and Employment Minister Nyato Dukam. The order was issued by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Training (AR&T) on July 6 with the approval of the competent authority. The committee comprises the Principal Secretary (PWD/Home), Secretary (Law), Secretary (Personnel), Secretary (SJETA), and the Joint Secretary (AR&T), who will serve as the Member Secretary.
