ACC&I Takes Over IMWA Following Court Order
ITANAGAR, July 10: The Arunachal Chamber of Commerce & Industries (ACC&I) has officially taken over the administration of the Itanagar Market Welfare Association (IMWA) following an order issued by the Civil Judge (Junior Division), Yupia, in Case No. 27/26 under Title Suit No. 15/26 dated June 25, 2026. Addressing a press conference at the Arunachal Press Club on Friday, ACC&I President Dr. Tarh Nachung said the chamber had complied with the court's directive and assumed charge of IMWA's affairs pending the final disposal of the title suit. Invoking the powers vested in the ACC&I President, Dr. Nachung announced the appointment of Azad Bagang as President and Biri Kame as Secretary General to oversee the administration and day-to-day functioning of IMWA with immediate effect until the court delivers its final verdict.
