New Delhi, June 20: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has approved a proposal to change its name to the Football Federation of Bharat (FFB) during a Special General Body Meeting (SGBM) held on June 20, 2026. The decision marks a significant step toward rebranding the country's football governing body, although the name change is not yet official and remains subject to further approvals. During the meeting, AIFF members unanimously agreed to forward the proposal to the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports for consideration.
