TRIHMS Sanitary Supervisor Arrested in Alleged Washroom Voyeurism Case
NAHARLAGUN, June 26: Naharlagun Police have arrested a sanitary supervisor working at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) in connection with an alleged voyeurism case after a woman accused him of secretly recording her while she was inside a hospital washroom. The case has been registered as Naharlagun Police Station Case No. 74/2026 under Sections 74, 77, 78(1), and 79 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) following a written complaint lodged by the victim. Police have launched a detailed investigation into the incident, which has raised serious concerns over the privacy and safety of women within public institutions. According to the complaint, the incident occurred at around 7:30 AM on June 25 inside the general washroom located near the ICCU Block of TRIHMS.
