Kento Jini seeks BRO for ALB Strategic Road project
ITANAGAR, July 3: Arunachal Pradesh Minister for Law, Legislative and Justice, Social Justice, Empowerment and Tribal Affairs, Sports and Youth Affairs, Kento Jini, has urged Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to entrust the implementation and maintenance of the Akajan–Likabali–Bame (ALB) Strategic Road Project to the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). In a letter dated July 2, Jini thanked the Government of India for declaring the Akajan–Likabali–Bame Road a Strategic Road under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. He said the decision reflects the Centre's commitment to strengthening border infrastructure and would significantly boost the socio-economic development of Arunachal Pradesh's seven border districts.
