Mechukha Trout Quest 2.0 Ends on a High Note
MECHUKHA, July 27: The second edition of Mechukha Trout Quest 2.0 concluded on Sunday after two days of competitive angling along the scenic Yargyap Chu River, bringing together fishing enthusiasts from across India and abroad. The event witnessed the participation of 56 anglers from Thailand, Bhutan, and several Indian states, making it an international sport fishing and eco-tourism in Arunachal Pradesh. Participants competed in both Fly Fishing and Lure Fishing categories under the guidance of Derek D'Souza, IGFA India Representative, and renowned fly angler Bobby Satpal. The valedictory ceremony was attended by Arunachal Pradesh Minister Gabriel D. Wangsu, who distributed prizes to the winners and congratulated all participants for making the event a grand success.
