LDV Police Donates 30 Units of Blood at Roing Camp
ROING, June 27: Demonstrating its commitment to community service beyond law enforcement, the Lower Dibang Valley (LDV) Police organised a voluntary blood donation camp at the District Hospital in Roing on Saturday. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from police personnel and officials of the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), resulting in the collection of 30 units of blood for patients in need. The camp was led by Shri Pujom Buchi, APPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), who participated alongside officers and personnel from the Civil Police, Indian Reserve Battalion (IRBn), Fire Service, Wireless Telegraphy (WT), Special Branch (SB), and other police ranks. Two officials from NHPC also joined the humanitarian initiative. A total of 30 voluntary donors contributed to the camp, including 28 police officers and personnel and two NHPC officials.
