Arunachal Angler Lands Massive 22.9 kg Golden Mahseer

  Bhalukpong, July 4:  The pristine waters of the Kameng River near Bhalukpong have once again showcased their extraordinary biodiversity with the capture of a massive 22.9 kg Golden Mahseer, one of the largest specimens ever reported from Arunachal Pradesh. The remarkable fish was caught by angler Hilot Mugli during a fishing expedition along the Kameng River near Bhalukpong.  Demonstrating responsible angling and a strong commitment to conservation, Mugli carefully released the giant Mahseer back into its natural habitat after documenting the catch, ensuring the iconic fish could continue to thrive in the wild.
