  ITANAGAR, July 11:  The All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU) has urged the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) to keep all recruitment processes on hold until the High-Level Committee reviewing the state's 80:20 recruitment policy submits its final report. The committee, headed by Minister Nyato Dukam, was constituted by the state government to examine the feasibility of abolishing the existing 80:20 recruitment ratio in Arunachal Pradesh.   ITANAGAR, July 10:  A fresh notification issued by the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) has reignited the ongoing debate over the State's 80:20 recruitment ratio, after four Lower Division Clerk (LDC) vacancies under the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, West Kameng, were advertised entirely under the Unreserved (UR) category. The addendum, issued on July 9 in continuation of Advertisement No. 05/2026 for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSLE)-2026, notified four LDC posts carrying Pay Level-4 (₹25,000–81,100).  The vacancy chart shows zero posts reserved for APST candidates, while all four posts have been classified as UR.
