AAPSU Urges Recruitment Halt Until 80:20 Report
ITANAGAR, July 11: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU) has urged the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) to keep all recruitment processes on hold until the High-Level Committee reviewing the state's 80:20 recruitment policy submits its final report. The committee, headed by Minister Nyato Dukam, was constituted by the state government to examine the feasibility of abolishing the existing 80:20 recruitment ratio in Arunachal Pradesh. Addressing the media, AAPSU President Meje Taku said the issue was originally raised by the students' body to safeguard employment opportunities for the indigenous people of the state.
