Niti Vihar Police Solve Three Vehicle Theft Cases

 


ITANAGAR, July 26: 

In a major breakthrough, Niti Vihar Police has busted a two-wheeler theft racket, solving three theft cases registered as PS Case Nos. 33/26, 34/26, and 36/26 under Section 305(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Acting on sustained investigation and credible intelligence inputs, police apprehended several Children in Conflict with Law allegedly involved in the thefts.

During the operation, officers recovered a total of seven stolen scooties from different locations across the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR), including Itanagar and Naharlagun.

Police said efforts are underway to identify the rightful owners of some of the recovered vehicles. Authorities are also verifying whether the recovered scooties are linked to other theft cases.

Meanwhile, investigators are pursuing fresh leads to recover additional stolen two-wheelers and identify other individuals who may have been involved in the theft racket.

The investigation is continuing, and police have assured that further legal action will be taken based on the findings.
