  AALO, July 13:  Dorik Doji, a 29 year old convict under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act who escaped from the Aalo Sub-Jail last week, surrendered before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court in Aalo on Monday, bringing an end to a days-long manhunt. Confirming the development, West Siang Superintendent of Police Kardak Riba said Doji surrendered at around 4 pm after sustained efforts by the police, who had remained in constant touch with his family members and persuaded him to return and face the law. In connection with the jailbreak, police have arrested Doji's childhood friend, Tara Rai, for allegedly assisting him in evading arrest.  According to the police, Rai frequently visited Doji during his time in jail and is accused of facilitating his escape by providing him with a scooter and fuel, allowing him to flee after breaking out of custody.   PASIGHAT, July 13:  In a continued effort to enforce the Inner Line Permit (ILP) system and prevent unauthorized stay in Arunachal Pradesh, East Siang Police have detected 22 individuals for allegedly violating ILP regulations during a recent enforcement drive carried out across the district. According to official information, the violators were found during routine verification and inspection conducted by police personnel as part of intensified checks to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Inner Line Permit system. The case has been registered at Pasighat Police Station under PSG PS Non-FIR C/No. 28/26 and booked under Section 3 of the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation (BEFRA), which governs the entry and stay of non-residents in the state.   PARSI - PARLO, July 13:  A devastating flash flood triggered by incessant heavy rainfall wreaked havoc across the Parsi-Parlo region of Kurung Kumey district on Monday, washing away bridges, damaging public infrastructure, destroying homes and isolating several villages. Among the worst-hit infrastructure was the 66-metre hanging bridge connecting Damin and Huri, which was completely washed away, leaving Huri village cut off from the rest of the district.  The district administration is coordinating with the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) to restore the bridge, a process expected to take approximately two weeks.   DEOMALI, July 13:  The search for the third missing student continued on Monday as the rescue operation at the Chatjo River entered its third day. Rescue teams recovered the body of the second missing student after an extensive search conducted by multiple agencies. The first victim, a student from Kaimai village, was recovered on the day of the incident, Saturday, July 11.  With the recovery of the second body on Monday, efforts are now focused on locating the third student, who remains missing. The operation is being led by Inspector Nitish Singh, In-charge of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and SI Yumto Pulong, In-charge of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), under the overall supervision of ADC (i/c) Deomali, Indira Thomoung Riba.  Rescue teams have been camping at the riverbank and will resume the search on Tuesday.   LONGDING, July 11:  In a significant development for security agencies in Arunachal Pradesh, an active cadre of the NSCN-K (Angmai), identified as SS Captain Pongngoi Wangnowham (37), surrendered before the Longding Police at the Office of the Superintendent of Police on Saturday. A resident of Kamkah village under Kanubari Police Station in Longding district, Wangnowham had reportedly been associated with the militant outfit since 2005, spending nearly two decades with the organisation.
