Lemmi Market Faces Joint Inspection Drive
Pakke Kessang, September 1:
A joint enforcement drive was conducted at Lemmi Market to promote public safety, fair trade practices and consumer protection.
The inspection was carried out by personnel from Lemmi Police Station in coordination with the District Administration and the Trade Development Officer, Pakke Kessang.
During the drive, officials checked the trading licences of local shopkeepers and vendors to verify their validity, authenticity and renewal status.
Teams also inspected shops for expired or unverified goods and advised traders to ensure that only safe and permissible products are kept for sale.
The authorities urged local vendors to keep their trading documents updated and avoid stocking or selling expired products.
Pakke Kessang Police said it will continue to support the district administration in maintaining law and order while ensuring the safety and interests of consumers.
