Assam Rifles Rescues Vehicle Near Kheti Village

Kheti, Tirap, September 4:

Personnel of the Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters 25 Sector Assam Rifles, carried out a timely rescue operation after a vehicle met with an accident near Kheti Village in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday.

According to officials, the troops received information about the accident and promptly moved to the site to assess the situation and assist in the recovery operation.

The rescue team faced challenging terrain and limited accessibility while reaching the accident location. Despite the difficulties, the personnel quickly organised the recovery effort and worked to clear the affected area.

Through coordinated efforts, the accident-involved vehicle was successfully recovered and shifted to a secure location. The operation also helped prevent further damage to the vehicle and minimise obstruction along the road.

The prompt response by the Assam Rifles provided timely assistance in an otherwise difficult situation in the remote area.

The operation is another example of the force's role in supporting local communities during emergencies and unforeseen incidents.

The Assam Rifles has continued to undertake humanitarian and public-safety assistance in remote parts of Arunachal Pradesh, particularly where difficult terrain can make emergency response challenging.

The successful rescue operation near Kheti Village also underlines the importance of timely coordination between security forces and local communities in ensuring public safety and keeping vital road links accessible.
