East Kameng Police Secures NDPS Conviction in Three Months

 


SEPPA, Aug 18:

East Kameng Police has secured another significant success in its efforts to combat drug-related offences, with an NDPS case resulting in the conviction of the accused within just three months of registration.

The case, SPA/PS/C/No. 36/2026, was registered under Sections 21(a)/27(a) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act against accused Lorik alias Balu Grodi (Taku).

The case was investigated by SI Tage Saa, Investigating Officer, whose dedicated and systematic approach played an important role in the successful outcome.

From the initial stages of investigation to the completion of the required legal formalities, SI Tage Saa maintained close follow-up and ensured that all relevant aspects of the case were properly addressed.

His timely investigation, attention to detail and persistent efforts contributed significantly to the successful prosecution and conviction of the accused within a short period of three months.
