Arunachal Releases State Merit Scholarship Award 2026 List
ITANAGAR, July 2:
The Directorate of Secondary Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, has released the official list of 28 meritorious students selected for the State Merit Scholarship Award 2026 based on their performance in the Class X (AISS) Examination, 2026.
The merit list, issued by the Directorate of Secondary Education, recognises students from government and private schools across eight districts for their outstanding academic achievements.
Blue Pine Residential School, Hapoli, emerged as the top-performing institution with nine students securing places in the merit list. The selected students from the school are Hage Annu Treisa, Hibu Kaku, Koji Sampyu, Doilyang Kari, Tasso Keying, Hage Pyaping, Hage Riimu, Hano Cheryl Nuri and Radhe Donya.
From East Siang, the selected students are Lajong Borang of GHSS Mebo, Geyum Rihar of Green Valley School GTC, Reyi Murtem of Sainik School East Siang and Aaditya Pran Sarmah of Angun Asir Academy, Pasighat.
West Kameng contributed five students to the merit list. They include Kenpi Hangu, Tashi Wangchuk Thungon and Sujen Shree from Roopland School, Rupa, Asmita Thakur from Army Public School, Tenga Valley, and Sangey Lhazom from Ramakrishna Sarada, Dirang. Another student from Army Public School, Tenga Valley, Aryan Kumar, also secured a place in the list.
Other selected students include Ainam Darang of VKV Jirdin (West Siang), Tasso Ando of Dani Kunia GHSS, Ziro (Lower Subansiri), Talum Rebi of Indira Academy, Naharlagun, Anushka Patel of Don Bosco, Itanagar, and Radhe Senyi of Holy Cross, Nyokum Lapang (Capital Complex).
From the remaining districts, Aman Kumar Sahani of GHSS Yingkiong represented Upper Siang, Tashi Makcha of JNV Megdong represented Upper Subansiri, while Tarjan Lohar of PM SHRI JNV Roing represented Lower Dibang Valley.
The State Merit Scholarship Award is aimed at recognising exceptional academic performance and encouraging students to pursue higher education.
The Directorate of Secondary Education stated that the scholarship reflects the state government's continued commitment to promoting academic excellence and supporting deserving students across Arunachal Pradesh.
