The move comes in response to growing concerns over the increasing instances of waste being dumped along roadsides, highways, and other non-designated areas, affecting both public health and the environment. Particular concern has been raised over the NH-415 stretch from Chimpu to Banderdewa, where such practices have reportedly become frequent. The first raid was carried out at Dokum Colony, where police recovered 10 vials of suspected heroin weighing approximately 12.90 grams from the residence of Tony Gamlin (28), a native of Tirbin in West Siang district.
